Product Description
COENG Single-Station Vacuum Glove Box With Purification System
The COENG vacuum glove box with purification system provides an enclosed workspace for processes requiring controlled water and oxygen levels. Its single-side operating layout combines a stainless steel chamber, an inclined viewing window and internal shelving with large and small antechambers for material transfer.
For importers, equipment distributors, procurement teams and engineering contractors, the configuration provides defined dimensions and monitoring functions for laboratory equipment selection. Battery research applications should be assessed against the materials, solvents, process steps and atmosphere requirements of each project.
Controlled Atmosphere with Defined Acceptance Conditions
The specified acceptance criterion is water content below 1 ppm and oxygen content below 1 ppm in an empty chamber during circulation. This criterion applies at a constant temperature of 20–25°C, 65% ambient relative humidity and an inert gas source purity of 99.999%.
The system supports helium, nitrogen or argon as working gases. Gas selection should match the intended materials and process. Performance during operation depends on material loading, transfer frequency, gas quality and process conditions.
Stainless Steel Workspace
The chamber uses 3 mm thick 304 stainless steel and an inclined, removable 8 mm tempered glass front window. Two internal shelving levels provide space for organizing laboratory materials.
Specified chamber dimensions are 1220 × 770 × 900 mm, expressed as length × width × height. Overall equipment dimensions are 2020 × 850 × 1900 mm. Equipment placed inside the chamber should be checked against usable space, access requirements and operator reach.
Dual Antechambers for Material Transfer
The large antechamber measures Ø390 × 600 mm and includes a 300 × 450 mm stainless steel sliding tray. The small antechamber measures Ø150 × 300 mm and uses manual valves for evacuation and gas refill.
These two chamber sizes provide transfer options for different material dimensions. Confirm sample size, transfer frequency and evacuation requirements when specifying the equipment.
PLC Control and Water/Oxygen Monitoring
The PLC touchscreen supports English and Chinese interfaces, pressure control, circulation control and alarm functions. A foot pedal provides additional pressure adjustment.
The oxygen analyzer has a stated range of 0–1000 ppm, while the water analyzer covers 0–500 ppm. Pressure and water/oxygen alarms support monitoring during operation.
Purification, Regeneration and Solvent Adsorption
The system includes a single purification column with regeneration functionality. An organic solvent adsorption module uses a 304 stainless steel housing with a 7 kg activated carbon charge.
The 7 kg specification describes the installed carbon mass. Adsorption performance and replacement intervals depend on the solvent and operating conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the below-1-ppm specification apply to all operating conditions?
It is an empty-chamber acceptance criterion under the stated temperature, ambient humidity and gas purity conditions. Loaded-process performance should be evaluated for the intended application.
What should buyers provide when requesting a quotation?
Provide the intended process, materials and solvents, required water and oxygen levels, sample dimensions, transfer frequency, preferred working gas, installation space and local electrical supply.
What should be confirmed before ordering?
Confirm the vacuum pump configuration, antechamber ultimate pressure, analyzer accuracy and calibration, circulation flow rate, regeneration cycle, utility requirements and acceptance procedure in the technical agreement.

We chose the COENG glove box for a battery materials development workspace requiring controlled-atmosphere handling and frequent transfers of small samples and laboratory tools. The large antechamber with its sliding tray, together with a separate small antechamber, was particularly relevant to our workflow. Penny worked through our material list, solvent use and utility requirements with us. We also discussed the regeneration function and the solvent adsorption module with its 7 kg activated carbon charge. Her explanation of the configuration and the items requiring technical confirmation helped us prepare a clearer installation and acceptance plan.

Our project involved sourcing equipment for a university battery research laboratory. We needed a single-station glove box with gas purification, water and oxygen monitoring, and an English-language control interface. Penny coordinated the technical discussions and helped us compare the proposed configuration with the laboratory’s purchasing requirements. We reviewed the 2020 × 850 × 1900 mm overall dimensions for installation planning and checked the transfer chambers against the intended sample sizes. The COENG configuration brought the workspace, monitoring and purification functions together in one equipment package, making it easier to define our procurement scope.

We selected the COENG glove box for a laboratory project involving moisture-sensitive battery materials and small-scale cell assembly. Our purchasing priorities were controlled water and oxygen levels, accessible working space and practical sample transfer. Penny helped us review the chamber dimensions, antechamber sizes and gas supply requirements against our planned workflow. She also clarified the conditions associated with the specified below-1-ppm water and oxygen acceptance levels. The stainless steel workspace, internal shelving and dual antechambers matched the configuration we were seeking for our research station.
