COENG DJ100S Semi-Automatic Prismatic Battery Cell Stacking And Pressing Machine
Key Attributes
Short product description
The COENG DJ100S is a semi-automatic prismatic battery cell stacking and pressing machine for 280Ah lithium-ion battery modules. It combines manual loading, PLC-controlled electric cylinder pressing and manual steel band fastening in one module assembly station.
Product overview
Built for the mechanical assembly stage of a lithium battery PACK production line, the DJ100S brings stacked cells, insulation plates and end plates together for controlled pressing and fastening. Operators arrange the components on the platform and start the pressing cycle. The electric cylinder stops when the preset force or travel position is reached, allowing the operator to secure the assembled module with steel bands.
The specified module envelope covers lengths of 300–1000 mm, widths of 100–300 mm and heights of 100–250 mm. PLC parameter adjustment and real-time force and travel monitoring help production engineers set up the pressing process for the approved module design. A buzzer and red light provide an alarm at the preset upper force limit.
For solar battery storage and BESS module assembly projects, COENG can support equipment selection, module layout review, procurement coordination, quality inspection and overseas shipping. Share your cell dimensions, module drawing and production requirements so the station can be assessed for your application.

Installation conditions
Use a level installation surface, provide grounding and avoid vibration, shock, pollution and strong electromagnetic interference. Confirm the electrical connection, compressed-air connection and installation layout during project review.
Operating sequence
- Arrange the end plates, insulation plates and battery cells on the stacking platform.
- Start the pressing cycle after completing manual stacking.
- Allow the electric cylinder to stop at the preset force or travel position.
- Manually fasten the upper and lower steel bands to secure the module.
- Initiate cylinder return and remove the assembled module.
Applications services and buyer questions
Where the station fits
Use the DJ100S as a stacking, pressing and fastening station in prismatic battery module assembly. Potential project contexts include solar storage battery PACK production and BESS module assembly. Compatibility depends on the approved cell geometry, module envelope, compression settings and fastening design.
COENG project support
COENG supports overseas battery manufacturers with battery plant planning, equipment procurement and supply chain coordination. Project support can include module design review, equipment selection, quality inspection, consolidated shipping and engineering after-sales assistance.
For this station, discuss fixture requirements, operator training and the supply scope during project review. Delivery dates, documentation and service arrangements should be specified in the quotation.
Is the DJ100S fully automatic
The process is semi-automatic. Operators load and stack the cells, start the pressing cycle and fasten the steel bands. PLC control automates the electric cylinder pressing action and stops it at the preset force or travel position.
Which cells and modules are specified
The published configuration specifies 280Ah prismatic lithium-ion cells and a module envelope of 300–1000 mm long, 100–300 mm wide and 100–250 mm high. Other cell formats require an application review before compatibility is confirmed.
How is pressing controlled
Pressing parameters are adjusted through PLC control. The station monitors force and travel and stops at the configured endpoint. The published description also specifies a buzzer and red-light alarm when the preset upper force limit is reached.
What utilities does the station need
The listed requirements are 220 V at 50 / 60 Hz and compressed air at 0.5–0.6 MPa. Total power is specified as ≤ 1.5 kW. The final installation drawing should identify the electrical and air connection details.
What should buyers send for a quotation
Send the cell dimensions and model, module drawing, number of cells per module, end-plate and insulation design, required pressing settings, steel band specification, target output and local power supply. These details allow the station and fixture arrangement to be reviewed.

RWe chose the COENG glove box for a battery materials development workspace requiring controlled-atmosphere handling and frequent transfers of small samples and laboratory tools. The large antechamber with its sliding tray, together with a separate small antechamber, was particularly relevant to our workflow. Penny worked through our material list, solvent use and utility requirements with us. We also discussed the regeneration function and the solvent adsorption module with its 7 kg activated carbon charge. Her explanation of the configuration and the items requiring technical confirmation helped us prepare a clearer installation and acceptance plan.

JThe procurement discussions covered more than the battery specifications. Container dimensions, delivery access, unloading responsibilities and commissioning requirements were all important to our project planning. We valued having these points clearly defined before arranging shipment.

MWe selected the COENG glove box for a laboratory project involving moisture-sensitive battery materials and small-scale cell assembly. Our purchasing priorities were controlled water and oxygen levels, accessible working space and practical sample transfer. Penny helped us review the chamber dimensions, antechamber sizes and gas supply requirements against our planned workflow. She also clarified the conditions associated with the specified below-1-ppm water and oxygen acceptance levels. The stainless steel workspace, internal shelving and dual antechambers matched the configuration we were seeking for our research station.
