Wi-Fi Setup and Hush Mode

For Wi-Fi network configuration, press TEST twice to activate the flashing green LED and enter the approximately 2-minute setup window. A 9-minute hush mode temporarily reduces detection sensitivity before automatically returning to normal operation.

Battery Life and Service Life

Powered by 3 replaceable AA primary alkaline batteries, the alarm has a specified quiescent current of ≤5 µA and alarm current of ≤100 mA. Low-battery warning starts at 2.8 V. Stated standby time is up to 3 years; actual battery life depends on usage and operating conditions.

The stated product service life of up to 10 years is separate from replaceable battery life. An end-of-life warning indicates when the device itself should be replaced.
